As this year's congress presidents of the DKOU, we would like to put together a varied and exciting congress programme. In addition to many topics from the sections, working groups and other groupings of our specialist societies, we would particularly like to take your activities into account and include them in the programme.

In a few days, the deadline for abstract submission will expire. Take another look at your own work and ask your network which new findings there might be that would be worth bringing to the attention of the interested parties in Orthopaedics and Traumatology. You have the choice between registering a presentation or a poster.

Each application will go through an independent review process. We will inform you about the acceptance of your presentation at the end of April. Just make sure now that you will be able to be away from your workplace in October to perform your accepted presentation. Your superiors and colleagues will certainly want to support you if you just ask in time.
